Rostov-on-Don is the largest city in the south of Russia. By the number of population it ranks 10th in Russia and 30th in Europe!

HOW CAN I GET TO ROSTOV-ON-DON?
The city is conveniently located: it takes 1.5 hours to get to Moscow by plane, and 2.5 hours to get to St. Petersburg and Istanbul by air. The flight to Sochi (the city called "Russian Miami") takes only 40 minutes! The nearest sea is the Sea of Azov, located 1 hour away from the city by car.

Rostov-on-Don is a very green city! There are numerous parks for walking and sports (they occupy about 1/3 of the area of the entire city) and two embankments for the promenade.
Art schools, vocal studios, recording studios, quest sites, concert venues, cinemas, an opera and ballet theater - every student will find a hobby and activity to his liking.
Every year dozens of various concerts and festivals take place in the city. Rostov is known for its famous jazz musicians and jazz school.

it was on the territory of modern Rostov-on-Don that the militant Amazons lived in ancient times. Don't you believe it? But Herodotus wrote about these lands! Visit the local historical museum, where the permanent exhibition "Gold of the Amazons", consisting of exhibits found by archaeologists near Rostov-on-Don, operates.
